FAITH, to hold India Tourism Vision Day event on 8th Oct 2020.
Covid-19 has made its impact across industries and economies have been impacted by this novel virus. There is one industry, which has taken a serious beating due its primary nature and business line, is the travel and tourism industry, which also includes the hospitality and aviation sector. FAITH (Federation of Associations in Indian Tourism & Hospitality) is all set to hold a special event in the best interest of this sector.
The association will hold an event titled India Tourism Vision Day on 8th October, 2020. This event will be in the form of a national press conference by the Board & the Presidents of the 10 FAITH Associations with a vision statement for their verticals and the road to achieve the same. `Theme 2020 – For Indian tourism to thrive tomorrow, it has to survive and revive today’, is the theme and the common thought and vision under FAITH. Those keen can view the event’s live streaming 11.00 am onwards on the Faith social media platforms namely on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
Faith consists of 20 associations namely, FHRAI (The Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Association of India), HAI (Hotel Association of India), IATO (Indian Association of Tour Operators), TAAI (Travel Agents Association of India), TAFI (Travel Agents Federation of India), ADTOI (Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India), ATOAI (Adventure Tour Operators Association of India), ICPB (India Convention and Promotion Bureau), IHHA (Indian Heritage Hotels Association), ITTA (Indian Tourist Transporters Association).̉
